Count on BlueGreen Group to help you understand how buildings behave as a system.
From International conferences, to local colleges and universities to grassroots community engagement, or the private sector we cover the spectrum on teaching professionals and homeowners alike on “what’s new” and “what’s happening” with energy efficient housing today.
We mentor young building scientist from Humber College and Ryerson University through our study that involves testing 100+ year old vintage semi-detached homes. We design and deliver curriculum for both Humber College‘s Sustainable Energy and Building Technology program and Ontario Home Builder’s Association (OHBA) Institute of Building Excellence in Building Science for Renovators.
Having presented at International Technical conferences such as:
- Affordable Comfort Inc., Washington, 2012
- Home Builder Renovator Expo, Toronto, 2009 - 2014
- Affordable Comfort for Canadians, Toronto, 2009
- Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario , Toronto (West), 2011
We’ve guest lectured for our community at:
- George Brown College
- Humber College
- Centennial College
- University of Toronto
On a community level we have played key roles in Integrated Design Process (IDP) Charrettes with both the University of Toronto Engineering students (Habitat for Humanity) as well as with Social Housing Services Corporation (Passive House Design Charrette for MURBs). We’ve also been involved in the private sector as part of the IDP team for architecture firms.
BlueGreen Consulting Group has the depth necessary to get technical points across, no matter what level of involvement. We have both the interest and the drive to be part of a sustainable energy solution.
Whether you’re a residential construction company, an insulation company, or a design firm we can help. We can develop technical training materials and do either in-house training for staff or field training for your contractors, we can help.
